The Past

Nexusfiles was founded on the Motto 'Files Without The Fuss'. Have you noticed how over the years most files storage sites have become nothing more than an advertising platform. Adverts in every conceivable location and the files themselves buried under 10 clicks and multiple waits just to get to them.

well we are players just like you and what annoys you also annoys us. So Nexusfiles was launched. It's roots lie right back in 1999 when Unreal Tournament was first released. Back in those days we were connecting via Modems and ISDN lines.

In those days file storage was at a premium and most hosts were using the 'Unlimited' with strict regulations behind the scenes. These days it's not so bad and 500 Gb's of space is dirt cheap. Bandwidth we cope for by leasing our own servers and not using shared space, so you should find our downloads are always available and run at a smooth fast speed.

The Future

We have moved to a site design that makes it far easier for us to moderate and add new files but its our plan is to start piling on the bulk now. We have large stores of maps and mods that never made it on to Nexusfiles due to the older more labor intensive system. These we will begin to add over the next few weeks.
